St John Bosco BYOD Program
Students at St John Bosco College are required to bring their own device (BYOD). The BYOD program at St John Bosco leverages digital learning devices in the interest of enhancing digital literacy skills across all teaching and learning and to promote a healthy relationship with the practical benefits of technology. This is a College requirement from Year One.
The College leverages a user initiated Mobile Device Management (MDM) System to assist the role of this technology in the classroom in the form of pushing updates, applications and configurations to the device from a central management console. It is important to note that whilst the device is away from the College the MDM becomes inactive.

The College has engaged a leading local Apple Authorized reseller and service provider, Winthrop Australia, who also assist with the facilitation of a hardware repair service for both warranty and non warranty incidents. The College also has a purchase portal hosted by JB Hi-Fi (School Code: johnbosco26)
Both resellers offer competitive education discounts. You may also source your own device as long as it means the minimum requirements specified above. More information will be available in November.
